As some of you know I had to send our goodest boy over the rainbow bridge this week. His favourite thing was to sit at the fence and welcome soup customers, so thank you everyone for loving on him ❤️

The temps are down up the soup vibes are up!

Two new bangers to the stand this week 🤌

First up is the highly requested Boston style clam chowder! Growing up on the island made me love a good seafood chowder, and this one hits all the notes! These bad boys are for sale for $12/litres

Next is Zucchini Truffle Parmesan! We snagged some zucchini from P&R Farms down the road, and it pairs perfectly with the earthy flavours of the truffle. This one is a new favourite of mine and is a true soup warmer!

Stand is also stocked with our hot sauce, bread & canning.

This crabapple and habanero sauce packs a kick! Made from crabapples grown here on the farm it blends sweet, tart and spicy to create a sauce that’ll go on anything 🤌

There are beautiful days on the farm, and then there are really bad days. Today was one of those really bad days.

I had to let my friend go.

Susan’s healthy was deteriorating, and despite all the medications and love she just wasn’t getting better. I already miss her presence on the farm, and the loving chirps she would greet me with. Our sassy Queen is at peace now and that’s giving me a bit of comfort.

The soup stand is fully stocked right now, but I’ll be taking the rest of the week off. Our animals aren’t just livestock they’re our friends, and right now I just really miss my friend.

Cancer sucks.
