Canoe Beach has a beautiful pebbly-sand beach, big shady trees, beach volleyball courts, grassed area for picnics, boat launch, washrooms, change facilities, group shelter and gourmet licensed 68 seat outdoor dining. The park is ideal for families, corporate picnics and large group gatherings. Within steps of the beach are baseball diamonds, the Park Hill Trail system and the community of Canoe. The Canoe Beach Cafe has a long history of serving delicious food always with a smile and in the most casual and relaxing environment.

A new day on Canoe Beach! Can’t wait for more free entertainment on the Beach. Despite the rain throughout today we had 100+ folks show up for the daily events. With warm weather in the future next summer we will see 1,000 + is my bet for events like this . Thank you Cupe 1908 and 523. You are the best. 🙂❤️

Don’t forget. Saturday at Dusk Cupe 1908 and 523 will be hosting a family movie night right on Canoe Beach. Come watch Disneys “Live Action with Lilo and Stitch”. Free popcorn and button making station. Licensed Concession will be open late with full menu. 🙂❤️

I am so blessed. Thanks Kirsten and John ( Kirsten Blair McDowell )for helping me gain back weight. Yesterday were amazing cupcakes and today protein egg bites. But the big winner and so thoughtful was an old school “Flapper Pie” just like my mom used to make. Still warm too! God bless you both. ❤️😇👼

Also our neighbours Rhonda, Darren, Igor and Aga for caring for our yard and garden during my illness. Much love to you all. ❤️🙏

The list keeps getting longer. Thank you to my great friends Elayna Young and Liam Young for bringing over the most delish Lasagne last night. I now have food for a week and still friends for life. ❤️❤️

We’re back open and slinging perfect Zombie Burgers. Just the right Maillard Effect on the smash. Nice protein browning without going too far into dry territory. Never go full Maillard!

Our oldest Grandson Dylan. Proudly representing team Alberta in Halifax at the Canadian box Lacrosse Championships. We were so delighted to learn they will be boarded at the world famous Dalhousie University. Ironically or by fate three generations of Dunlops, including my father Hugh, graduated over the past 150 + years from Dalhousie. Our son Ben and family will honour the grave sights this week. We are so blessed to have Jamie, Dylan, Sam, Tammy and Larry etc in our family. Love you all. ❤️
