After a brief hiatus, Rick's Fish & Chips and Seafood House is back, serving Rick's homemade specialties such as Cajun mussels, Atlantic salmon and of course, fish 'n' chips accompanied by fresh-cut PEI fries! Using only high quality ingredients, sourced locally whenever possible and prepared from scratch, Rick's Fish & Chips appeals to guests looking for a rich Prince Edward Island, culinary experience. Indulge in fresh Haddock and Cod Fish & Chips (Halibut when in season), house-ground PEI beef burgers, traditional lobster rolls, pan seared scallop rolls, crispy fried chicken sandwich, daily fresh seafood chowder, shellfish croquettes, hand-cut PEI fries and more. Nacim Louali, a seasoned chef from Montreal, and Leslie Beck, a local with a background in hospitality are the proud new owners of this long established seafood house in St. Peters Bay, taking what was already great and adding their own touches. Casual dining with fast food style counter service and comfortable seating areas inside & out offering water views of beautiful St. The outdoor seating has many options, a screened in front porch, garden seating with shade from trees or the sunny, open terrace. They are fully licensed and are pet friendly outdoors.

🐟 NEW DISH #8 — Cajun Cod Bites

This dish was inspired by combining two favourites at Rick’s: our Cod Fish & Chips and Cajun Fried PEI Mussels.

We introduced Cajun Cod Bites a few weeks ago as well, and the feedback has been great — so they’re staying on the menu through the end of the season!

Each order comes with 4 oz of tender cod pieces, battered in our signature batter, fried until golden and crispy, then tossed in Cajun seasoning. Served with hand-cut fries, tartar sauce, coleslaw & lemon.

Crispy, savoury, and perfect if you love our fish & chips but want to try something a bit different.

🍨 Ice Cream Nachos — Now at Rick’s!

We just introduced our Mini Pancake Sundae this week, so we also wanted to remind you about another Fryday Sundae Café signature favourite that we’ve brought to Rick’s — Ice Cream Nachos!

At Rick’s, we’ve given it a little twist by serving it with hard ice cream instead of soft serve.

Warm, fried tortilla chips dusted with icing sugar, served with two hard ice cream sundaes for dipping. Each sundae is topped with your choice of sauce, whipped cream, and a cherry.

Pick two different sauces, dip the warm crispy chips into your favourite sundae, and enjoy!

Next up is Fryday Wing Poutine — a dish we introduced this summer at Fryday Sundae Café in Cavendish and Brackley Beach, and now we’re bringing it to St. Peter’s Bay for you to try!

Each order starts with our classic poutine, topped with 5 boneless breaded wings, buffalo sauce and a ranch drizzle.

It’s a fun alternative if you love poutine or Fries with the Works, but want something a little different with a bit more kick.

🇹🇭 NEW DISH #6 — Thai Chicken Red Curry

Next up in our September new-menu series is Thai Chicken Red Curry — a classic Thai curry made with tender chicken, vegetables, coconut cream, Thai red curry paste, and aromatic herbs, served with steamed jasmine rice. 🍛

We use authentic Thai ingredients to bring you the rich, creamy, slightly spicy flavour you’d expect from a traditional Thai red curry.

In Thai, red curry is called Kaeng Phet:
“Kaeng” means curry, and “Phet” means spicy — literally, “spicy curry.” 🌶️

This is one of our new September dishes at Rick’s Fish & Chips and Seafood House, and we’d love to hear what you think! Your feedback will help us decide which new dishes should return as permanent menu items next summer.

Mini Pancake Sundae — Now at Rick’s!

We’ve already brought one of Fryday Sundae Café’s four signature sundae specials — Ice Cream Nachos — to Rick’s Fish & Chips and Seafood House, with a little twist: hard ice cream instead of soft serve.

Now it’s time to introduce the second one: Mini Pancake Sundae!

Our Mini Pancake Sundae comes with 8 warm mini pancakes and 2 hard ice cream sundaes. Each sundae is topped with your choice of sauce, whipped cream, and a cherry.

This is one of the Asian dishes many of you have been asking for — Wonton Soup!

Instead of the traditional pork wontons commonly found in Chinese restaurants, we’re making ours with shrimp wontons to give it a seafood twist that fits right in at Rick’s Fish ’n’ Chips & Seafood House. 🦐

Each bowl comes with 16 oz of warm, savoury broth and 5 hand-folded shrimp wontons.

And with the weather starting to get a little cooler, it’s the perfect time for something warm and comforting.

🦞 NEW DISH #4 — Lobster Rangoon

We introduced this one a few weeks ago, and the feedback has been great — so Lobster Rangoon is staying on the menu for you to enjoy through the end of the season!

Each order comes with 6 hand-folded wontons filled with lobster, po***ck surimi, cream cheese, mayo and our own seasoning, then fried until golden and crispy. Served with our homemade sweet & tangy dipping sauce.

This is another of our Asian-fusion dishes, inspired by classic Crab Rangoon but given a PEI twist with a touch of lobster flavour. Crispy on the outside, creamy and savoury inside, with just a hint of lobster in every bite.

🦞 NEW DISH #3 — Lobster Spring Rolls

Next in our September new-menu series is Lobster Spring Rolls — three hand-rolled spring rolls filled with vegetables, glass noodles and lobster, lightly seasoned and fried until golden and crispy.

For this dish, we took inspiration from a traditional Asian spring roll and added a touch of lobster flavour to give it a little PEI twist. It’s a crispy, savoury appetizer with just a hint of lobster in every bite.

🇹🇭 NEW DISH #2 — Thai Chicken Green Curry

Next in our September new-menu series is Thai Chicken Green Curry — a traditional Thai curry made with tender chicken, vegetables, coconut cream, and Thai herbs, served with steamed jasmine rice.

We make this dish with real Thai ingredients, including green curry paste and coconut cream, to keep the flavour as authentic and delicious as possible.

In Thai, green curry is called Kaeng Khiao Wan:
“Kaeng” means curry, “Khiao” means green, and “Wan” means sweet — so it literally means sweet green curry.
