Our Director, Karen Milligan, recently enjoyed a delightful meal at a beloved local gem, Thegoldendory popular among both residents and tourists. Karen was joined in the picture by co-owners Cory Johnston and Julia Taylor, who have crafted a dining experience that feels like home. This family-owned and operated establishment is renowned for its delicious, approachable food, reflecting a philosophy of simplicity and flavour.

The menu is focused, and brimming with taste. Diners can savour fresh haddock, crispy clams, local mussels, and PEI crab cakes. The attention to detail is evident in the hand-cut daily fries, burgers made from local beef, and the crowd-favourite chowder and fish tacos. Even the sauces are lovingly made in-house, adding a personal touch to each dish.
