The Union Club was constructed during the heyday of shipbuilding in Saint John. This hand carved newel post is simply stunning! The top features scroll-like volutes, floral rosettes, and layered acanthus leaf details. The post body features vertical fluting (grooves) carved into the warm-toned hardwood.
