Three nights. Three sold out dinners. So many happy faces, full tables, and very full stomachs!

Thank you so much for all the support, love, and trust. We are truly grateful and honestly a little overwhelmed by how much you all loved this special dinner.

These photos are just a few behind the scenes snapshots taken by our kitchen team while preparing the dishes and getting everything ready to go out. They are not perfect food photos, but they captured three very busy, very delicious nights for us.

We will remember these three nights, and all the dishes that brought so much joy to the table.

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who came from all across New Brunswick to celebrate Qixi with us. 🙏

All three nights, August 18, 19 & 20 (Tue to Thu), are fully booked.

During these evenings, from 4:30 PM to 9:00 PM, our team will be preparing and hosting the Qixi Dinner experience for our reserved guests. We will not be accepting walk-in guests, regular reservations, or takeout orders during this time.

Summer calls for a cold beer. 🍺

At Mimimi, we proudly serve Tsingtao Lager and Asahi Super Dry. These are not easy to find here, and we are one of the very few places in NB offering them, if not the only one at the moment.

They are a perfect match with our stir fry dishes, Dim Sum, and ramen. Fresh flavours, cold drinks, and a relaxed summer vibe.

We also carry local beers like Moosehead and Drifter because supporting local matters to us.

Mimimi - Asian comfort, local heart. ❤️

Mimimi’s chef, Yan, had the pleasure of attending the opening ceremony of the Sturgeon and Caviar Educational Culinary Tourism Building by Acadian Sturgeon and Caviar Inc in Carters Point.

Congratulations to Cornel Ceapa, Dorina Ceapa, and Mike on this important milestone. From producing the best caviar in Canada and operating a beautiful sturgeon farm, to now welcoming guests in such an impressive new space, this is truly inspiring to see.

It was also great to reconnect with friends from the culinary and banking communities. A special mention to Joe for his wonderful piano performance. Many of you may not know that he is not only a talented musician, but also the founder of a successful moving company, Clarity Move.

If you are interested, we highly recommend booking a visit. You can tour the farm, enjoy great food and drinks, and even see these incredible sturgeon up close. It is a rare experience, especially for kids.

Cornel has been incredibly supportive of Mimimi over the years, as President of Acadian Sturgeon and Caviar Inc., as Bailli of chainenewbrunswick, and most importantly as a friend. We are truly grateful.

Sesame Chicken Noodle Salad (鸡丝凉面 jī sī liáng miàn) is coming to Mimimi this Wednesday, June 3 at lunch!

This was my absolute favorite summer dish growing up. Before putting it on the menu, I called my mom to tell her. She said she’s happy people in Canada will get to try her noodles, and then told me I better make it even better than hers. Haha, no pressure.

Chilled noodles with sesame dressing, shredded chicken, and lots of fresh, crisp veggies. Kind of like a noodle salad, but better.

Perfect for warm days when you want something light but still satisfying. Hope you enjoy it as much as I always have :-)

We are proud that MiMiMi is currently the only Chaîne affiliated restaurant in Saint John, New Brunswick.

Chaîne des Rôtisseurs Bailliage de New Brunswick is composed of outstanding chefs and refined gastronomes from across the province. Each year, we organize multiple gastronomic dinners and wine events in different locations throughout New Brunswick.

This is the time of year when a warm cup of tea feels just right. Not quite summer, not quite gone from winter.

Somewhere in between… just like two coats that were left here on Mother’s Day, still waiting here to go home before the next cold day finds them.
