Laura will close out the 7th Annual Balance Festival with a singing bowl sound bath on Sunday at 3pm! If you have not experienced a sound bath - this is your chance.

Laura MacNeill is a facilitator with a background in yoga, bodywork, Reiki, and mindfulness-based practices. She has been exploring these and other embodied practices for many years and loves creating welcoming spaces where people can slow down, reconnect with themselves, and simply experience the moment.

Session Description:

Settle in and allow yourself to slow down during this 45-minute singing bowl sound bath. Using seven singing bowls, Laura will create layers of tone, vibration, and resonance, inviting participants into a deeply restful and meditative experience. No previous meditation or sound-bath experience is needed. Simply find a comfortable position, listen, and allow the sounds to unfold around you. Please bring whatever you need to lie down comfortably!

Madison is a new teacher at the Balance Festival but she is not new to Monday night YOGA at the LAKE!

Madison has had an on again off again relationship with yoga for about 13 years. However, after discovering meditation, and some amazing yoga instructors on YouTube, she fell in love and decided to become a yoga instructor.

Certified in vinyasa, hatha and yin. Teaching once a month at Yoga at the Lake for about a year has helped her on the path to figuring out what her yoga voice sounds like. If you feel like you are ready for bed, or energized (depending on the class) she knows she has done her job.

Madison will be guiding a stretchy focused low to the ground hatha class on Saturday at 11 and Power Yoga on Sunday at 11.

Purchase your single day or Festival Pass and you choose what sessions you would like to attend!

The Balance Festival is grateful to have Kyra teaching at the Balance Festival on Sunday at 10am.

Kyra is a 200-hour yoga teacher trained in Rishikesh, India, with a background in nursing and psychology and a passion for travel, movement and connection. Her classes focus on breath, mindful movement and creating space to slow down, reconnect with the body and feel present.
This class is an invitation to slow down, reconnect with your body and feel grounded in the present moment. We’ll use breath, mindful movement and grounding postures to create a sense of steadiness and calm, while also exploring balance and the idea of finding stability within movement.
Class Flow
Begin with a short grounding practice and breathwork to arrive in the space, introducing a grounding mudra and intention setting.
Move through gentle seated and standing warm-ups encouraging students to connect movement with breath.
Build into a slow hatha/ vinyasa flow with an emphasis on feeling grounded through the feet and hands.
Explore a few balancing postures, using them as an opportunity to find focus and steadiness- ex tree pose, warrior 3.
Slow the practice back down with a cool down sequence, making the way to the ground.
Finish by bringing awareness back to the breath in savasana.

Dan is back at this year's Balance Festival on Saturday at 10am.

Dan’s yoga journey started in 2007 with a chair yoga class, he completed his 200-hour yoga instructor certification from Amana Yoga in 2013, and 240 hours of additional training from both Blissology Yoga and TAYS Yoga. He enjoys the challenge and benefits of a more active vinyasa flowing styles of yoga; and loves creative sequences, as well as slowing the latter part of his practice down with a more mindful contemplative approach for calming the mind and nervous system.

Dan retired from his engineering career in 2025 to focus more on his artwork, travel, and exploring his many other interests. He lives in Quispamsis, is a father of two adult children, is also a martial art instructor, and teaches two regular yoga classes at Amana Yoga.

Dan truly believes that the physical benefits of yoga not only improves your stamina, strength and flexibility, but can translate into a greater sense of well-being on a physical, emotional, and spiritual level, increasing your confidence and inner peace.
