At KBT, many of our dishes start here. Different flavors, same roots.

Understanding these basics is understanding Korean food.

Doenjang (soybean paste), Gochujang (red chili paste), and Ganjang (soy sauce) form the core of Korean cooking. Each adds its own depth and character.

From there, layers are built with ingredients like sesame oil, garlic, green onion, and chili flakes, creating endless variations from the same foundation.

That’s why Korean cuisine feels diverse yet familiar.
