I’m day dreaming about a vacation, so I’m gonna tell you about me and Tony’s honeymoon! We packed a car with all our camping gear and headed out to the West Coast. First stop, we went to Revelstoke our plan had been to ride the revel coaster, but the line up was so long so we went for a hike, hit up a pub and then kept driving. We drove the highway 99A. Such an incredible drive on the edges of cliffs!!!
Next stop was Whistler!!! We rode the peak to peak gondola up and then hiked up to both summits. It’s honestly so beautiful!! Well kept his eyes so tightly closed the whole time on the gondola but I enjoyed it. We ate at and it was sooo good!
Next day, we headed to the my aunts house in horseshoe bay! My aunt is always such an incredible host! She has black berries all over her street and makes the best ice cream using them. Horseshoe bay is so beautiful! Then we hopped on the ferry and headed to Victoria. We ate amazing fish and chips, went to .vic and and roamed around. Then we went to Nanaimo ate all the Nanaimo bar flavoured things. We went to Nanoose bay and ate oysters right out of the water and paddle boarded into the sunset. (Well I did, Tony was super slow and barely made it off the beach 😂)
Then Tofino and Ucluelet for surfing, camping on the beach where we cooked an amazing chili crab over the fire. The is the coolest aquarium ever!
Then we got on a ferry to Galiano Island to eat at for one of the best meals of our life. Honestly so good!
We then decided to drive all the way back from Vancouver in one go, listening to conspiracy theory podcasts!! We were so distracted by the podcasts that we didn’t realize at 10pm in WildWood we were out of gas! So a very scary looking tony went door to door trying to see if anyone had a Jerry can to rescue us! Finally someone helped us, and we made it home!!
Anyways, long story short, Pilgrim is for sale, so if anyone has an extra 1.2 million dollars laying around, let’s talk! Haha
