The time has come once again to raise prices on our specialty beverages and some of our food items.
Our bigger suppliers creep their prices up regularly without telling us and after a few months, we feel it. Plus, our rent went up months ago, and several of our local, small business suppliers have recently increased their wholesale prices (with a much appreciated heads up 🙏).
Additionally, it’s time all our staff got a little raise! Although we offer annual increases to our employees, the cost of living has been skyrocketing and this little boost is going to put more money in their pockets every month. I hear this is called “stimulating the local economy”, and since we’re locally owned and locally staffed, this means more money spent here in town!
So, you can expect that some of your favourite items are going to be the same price you paid in August, but several are going to cost about 5% more.
Our goal isn’t to get rich, it’s to create a welcoming environment and to celebrate local food and art. Continuing to choose Bon Vivant for your caffeine fix or tasty lunch helps us to keep offering our space as a cool place to hang out when it’s hot, maintain our free games shelf and colouring pages, keep the bathroom stocked with period products, and offer picnic tables outside for all to enjoy.
