A Little Change Is Brewing at Wild Goat! ☕🐐

We’re making a few changes at the Rodney café so we can focus on operating Wild Goat well and giving each part of the business the attention it deserves.

Friday, October 30th will be our last day serving made-to-order hot food at the café.

Thank you to everyone who has enjoyed our breakfasts, lunches and weekly specials! Be sure to stop in over the next couple of weeks to enjoy your favourites one more time. ❤️

The café isn’t closing!

Drew and I will still be here, keeping everyone caffeinated and helping bring some exciting new things to the café.

We’ll continue offering grab-and-go sandwiches, salads, charcuterie boxes, baked goods, espresso drinks and freshly roasted Wild Goat coffee.

Beginning Monday, November 2nd, our new café hours will be Monday–Friday, 9 AM–3 PM.

These changes will allow us to give more attention to our wholesale customers, the Western Fair Market, Stone & Bean chocolate, Smoke Pope, resuming our classes and the other parts of Wild Goat that we love.

Drew and I want to sincerely thank everyone who has supported our café and made us part of your daily routine. We’re excited about this next chapter!

The Rodney café will be closed again today—turns out working all weekend didn’t quite get us out from under this mountain of coffee orders! ☕📦🐐

These bags aren’t going to pack themselves. We’ve asked. They’re refusing.

We’re busy roasting and packing for our wholesale partners, keeping cafés, shops and businesses stocked with coffee worth slowing down for. It’s a growing part of Wild Goat, and we’re grateful to everyone keeping us hopping!

Something new has quietly arrived on our shelves.

Meet Stone & Bean—our own small-batch, bean-to-bar chocolate company, made right here in Rodney.

We’re beginning with six varieties—with more coming soon—ranging from creamy 46% milk chocolate to bold 100% cacao. Each bar is made with carefully selected cacao and given the time it needs to develop its own distinctive flavour.

This is our soft launch, and we’re so excited to finally share what we’ve been working on.

Stone & Bean — crafted slowly for remarkably good chocolate.

Vote for whoever you believe will do the best job. Local government affects a ridiculous amount of our everyday lives, and democracy works a whole lot better when we actually participate in it.

And remember the most important rule of municipal politics:

**If you don’t vote, you forfeit your complaining privileges for the next four years.**

No vote = no Facebook rants about council.
