From Market Roots to Riverfront Views – The Story of Rocco’s Cucina
Rocco’s journey began back in May 2012 at the Moncton Market under the name Rocco’s Panini. Every Saturday, market-goers would line up at the Festival Hall for a taste of something special; handcrafted paninis made with love, fresh ingredients, and bold Italian flavours. From the beginning, fan favourites included:
Classic Paninis: Crispy hand-breaded chicken or veal cutlets, topped with roasted red peppers, portobello mushrooms sautéed in balsamic vinegar, Rocco’s signature pomodoro sauce, and a three-cheese blend on ciabatta or a kaiser bun. In 2018, the passion expanded into a full kitchen experience in Hillsborough, New Brunswick where Rocco’s Cucina was born; bringing a wider menu, deeper roots in the community, and a place to gather around good food. Today, Rocco’s Cucina is proud to open its newest chapter at Chocolate River Station in Riverview. This exciting new location brings Rocco’s signature Italian comfort food closer to town, in a space where families, friends, and food lovers can come together. The heart of the kitchen remains the same: “Cibo dal cuore, food from the heart.”
