Yesterday’s Play Music on the Porch Day was absolutely amazing. We want to take a moment to just do a quick thanks:

Firstly, to the performers, we are so incredibly grateful to have such talent still jump at the chance to come share your gift here at CJ’s. Music in the Park has always been a dream for Lorne and it has truly come to full fruition. We will be inviting everyone back every year!!!

Secondly, to our loyal customers. You show up every Saturday even when the forecast looks iffy, knowing that it is going to be a great evening. You treat our staff and the property with so much respect. Most of you were here yesterday from 3 right until 9 and we hope that you enjoyed every minute, and I hope you’ll come back every Saturday in the future (we still have 2 left this summer!!!)

And last but certainly not least, to our staff. Many people may not have noticed, but these kids were down to one fryer basket a few times as the other ones just couldn’t keep up last night and all still closed with a smile. They work non stop without breaks sometimes (even though we try to force them to sit down lol) and have become family, to us and to each other. To think that these kids have the ability to cook and serve hundreds of customers at such a young age is truly impressive. They handle unhappy customers, broken equipment, running out of product and anything else that could go wrong with such a go getter mentality that it truly makes us so dang proud!!! It’s amazing to see them grow up each summer and although they eventually fly the nest ,they’re always team CJ’s!

We would absolutely LOVE your feedback on yesterday’s event so that we can make things bigger and better for next year!!!! And if you have any photos or videos of yesterday, please feel free to share!
