Dear loyal patrons & friends,

It was a difficult decision for us to announce that our West Vancouver Chef Hung Taiwanese Beef Noodle location will be closed indefinitely from today. The nature of our West Vancouver Chef Hung store was to bring great food in a warm hospitable environment for all friends and families, however, with the current pandemic burdens our West Vancouver Chef Hung management team must bid the community good-bye for now.

The West Vancouver location had their opening at the end of 2011 in November and was given the same hospitality by the West Vancouver community as our store had given throughout these years, and this decision was not easy for us to make.

At Chef Hung Taiwanese Beef Noodle, we will continue to serve and provide our patrons and friends with the same hospitality in our other locations. We wish all our patrons and friends good health and to stay safe.

It has been 9 months since we've re-opened for dine in back in May 2020 and what a wild ride it has been for everyone. We appreciate all our customers that continue to support us and the food and beverage industry over these difficult times.

Today was the first day restaurants were allowed to reopen again. After 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲𝘀, Chef Hung Taiwanese Beef Noodle shop was one of the only I found was opened! 🤭 Noodles were a great choice for dine-in since the soup keeps the noodles soft! 😋⁠⠀

Here were their procedures before entering:⁠⠀
» Asked us to sanitize our hands before coming in⁠⠀
» Ask if we had any listed symptoms ⁠⠀
» A temperature check⁠⠀
» Social Distanced Seating ⁠⠀
» Table and Seats were disinfected after customers left ⁠⠀

All of their staff were wearing a mask and gloves which were awesome. I was pretty impressed 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻 by their procedure and that they even cleaned the seat after a customer left. It gave me a lot more reassurance dining in which is good for the elderly like my mother who's getting older likes to eat in due to her aching joints. ⁠⠀

This one is one of my favourites. You can pick between flat, thin, or rice noodles. The soup is flavorful and with a little bit of sourness from the tomato. The beef was tender and easy to eat. Quality is the same as . Normally I get thin noodles. Today, the noodles were a bit harder than I had in the past but still good overall. ⁠⠀
