Yesterday was such a momentous celebration! Thank you for coming to celebrate the retirement of Sally and Tony. We had 250+ guests attend the Customer Appreciation & Retirement Party. This community is so supportive and we are super grateful!

If you took any pictures yesterday, we would appreciate it if you could share them with us. We would love to put it all in an album to help us remember this special occasion for years to come.

Dear customers,

Thank you for such incredible support these last few days! We truly didn’t expect such an amazing turnout as we say our goodbyes.

Tomorrow (March 24th) is our 𝐂𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐲. We hope to see everyone stop by! Please note, we did change the start time to 𝟑𝐩𝐦 to ensure we have buns available for you when you stop by. Come celebrate, have some baking, and congratulate Sally and Tony on their retirement.

Hello, everyone! Thank you for the kind support and encouragement. Words cannot describe how we’re feeling right now. We are so grateful to have such loyal customers over the years.

Due to the overwhelming amount of orders, sadly we have to stop taking anymore pre-orders. Those who have left their phone number with us, we are currently trying to contact you to get your orders in. Thank you for your understanding.

To clarify, we are not closing and new owners will be opening on April 4th. Please support them as the menu and recipes will remain the same, and Tony and Sally will still be around for a bit to support the new owners as they take on a new role.

Dear customers,

It’s been an honour serving Regina for the last 30+ years with our Chinese baking! Although it’s a bittersweet moment, we are excited to share that the time has come for Tony and Sally to retire.

We greatly appreciate all the visits you’ve made to the bakery over the years. From starting as a bakery on 11th Avenue, to running Chinese food takeout and delivery on Quance Street, and eventually returning back to only baking on Victoria Avenue, your continued support has carried us through every step of our journey. Seeing generations of families visit the bakery warms our heart. We love hearing stories how customers’ parents once brought them here, and now they’re bringing their children to the bakery.

Our 𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 will be on 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝟐𝟑𝐫𝐝. If you would like to get some baking made by Tony before he retires, please call beforehand to place an order to make sure we have some ready for you.

We will be hosting a 𝐂𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐲 at China Pastry on 𝐓𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝟐𝟒𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐭 𝟑𝐩𝐦, where there will be free buns and cake for attendees to celebrate this farewell.

Don’t worry, this is not goodbye! China Pastry will 𝐫𝐞-𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥 𝟒𝐭𝐡 with new ownership.

The holiday season is soon approaching! 🎄🎊 Here are our holiday hours. We will be OPEN on Tuesday, December 23rd, and Wednesday, December 24th.

We will be closed Thursday, December 25th to Friday, January 2nd. Regular business hours resume on Saturday, January 3rd at 11am.
