To our Loyal Customers,
Thank you for the incredibly supportive and thoughtful messages for our restaurant.
To confirm, the closure is related to the economics of the business, the industry and of increasing competitiveness. While we appreciate the sentiment towards the original location, the reality is that they were owned and operated by the same people, using the same food. While not every person may agree with changes that were implemented, they were made to provide our efforts to best support a business with many challenges; Competitors, change of appetites from our core menu, continued cost constraints and the expansion of the city which affected traffic patterns.
Many people have spoken to the importance of supporting local businesses. I wholeheartedly encourage the same. Many entrepreneurs take an opportunity to risk their investment, and sometimes others, in a belief of building a business for themselves and future generations, and we were no different.
Regina has recently had an explosion of great local restaurants to which is critical for Regina to embrace. From Leo's, Jack Keaton's to Cathedral Social Hall and many others impacting our great community, it is critical to support these locally owned, operated and capitalized businesses.
There may be a day that Burger Baron comes back. We are taking some time to determine where we are at, however, please know that this business was the foundation of our family and we are incredibly touched by the love and support you have shown us.
Support local. Support Regina. Support Jobs.
