Harvest ‘field dinners’

We know how busy the harvest can be for the surrounding Central Alberta farmers, so during the harvest season we have the opportunity to work with a few local farm families making some good home cooked eats during the long field days in hopes of helping to ease the load of the families back at home.

Tonight’s meal is,

-Homemade lasagnas
-Mixed green salad with dressing options
-Toasted garlic toast
- and some fresh Baclava for dessert!

Over the weekend, we had the pleasure of being a part of another great wedding for a fantastic couple and personal childhood family friends!

The meal included,
-fresh brioche buns with butter
-garlic steakhouse Caesar salad
-mixed berry with raspberry vinaigrette spinach salad
-butter herb and garlic red skinned mashed potatoes with gravy
-caramelized candy carrots
-butter dill carrots
-Polynesian smoked barbeque baked beans
-three types of assorted pickles with hot banana peppers
-barbeque smoked chicken breasts
-Alberta inside round succulent roast beef with horseradish
-dozen whole barbecue smoked chicken quarters for those that like there chicken ‘on the bone’

not only do we offer full catered main meals, but we have a wide variety of appetizer options for your events aswell!

Last nights lineup included,
-Fresh fruit and veggie trays
-Cracker trays with cube cheese pieces, three types of mixed pickles, hot banana peppers and correlating hot mustards and red pepper jelly
-Smoked spinach dip with a cheese baked top
-Warmed pita bed with medallion baguette pieces
-Smoked buffalo chicken bake with cheese topper
-Honey BBQ pulled pork sliders
-Smoked Italian and sweet chili mini meatballs
