Howdy everyone,

I'm excited to be here in Manitoba for the 50th anniversary Manitoba Welsh Pony & Cob Association!

This has been A huuge part of our family growing up, and to have been asked to come out for this year has been a great experience so far. Also a good trial for our future concession we will be setting up in the next few months at our new location in Raymond! (more info on that later on in time 😄).

The drive even was not too bad 😅

Howdy everyone,

After giving breakfast a good run, we’re settling into a new rhythm here at the restaurant.

This Saturday Aug 1st, will be our final breakfast service, and beginning next week our new hours will be:

Tuesday – Saturday | 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Moving to our new hours will let us focus on the part of the day where Iron & Ember really comes alive — lunch, supper, and serving the folks who stop in throughout the afternoon and evening.

A big thank you to everyone who stopped in for breakfast along the way. Whether it was for a quick bite, a hot coffee, or a quiet morning meal, we’re grateful you chose to spend part of your morning with us.

While breakfast may be coming to an end, there’s still plenty cooking at Iron & Ember. We look forward to seeing you for lunch, supper, or simply a good meal around the table.

Howdy everyone,

We will be closed on July 1st for Canada Day🇨🇦. We hope everyone enjoys the holiday with family and friends, and will be open normal hours Tuesday, Thursday - Saturday during the week otherwise.

A quick note for larger groups:
If you’re planning to come in with a group of 6 or more, we kindly recommend calling ahead when possible. This helps us prepare your table, pace the kitchen properly, and make sure your group has the best experience with us.

Howdy everyone!

Well this week dosen't seem like the best week to open the patio up with how the weather looks. That being said we are aiming to have it all set up next week!

Along with the patio opening we will be launching our new menu May 19th😁. There has been some changes it items, removed A few and replaced them with some fan favourites.

Now for the bitter part. There has also been A price increase on the menu items too😔. With the current state of world events and terrible growing seasons causing produce and such to increase in price. I tried my best to absorb as much as I could, however this is something that had to be done to ensure we can still provide quality meals for those that stop by and enjoy their meals. For this I apologize.

Howdy everyone!

It's almost Mother's Day. Why not stop by tomorrow morning for A sweet start to the day before the main event on Sunday☺️

Tomorrow May 9th we'll have this fella on feature for breakfast - A lovely plate up of banana bread french toast.

4 slices of banana bread egg dipped and fried until nice and golden, topped with A mixed berry sauce, some whipped cream, pure maple syrup, and of course can't forget the dash of powdered sugar😍.

Howdy everyone!

Well we did it, 1 year of officially being open🎉.

Boy has it been A wild ride and an absolute blast this past year running this place. The amount of learning I have learned has been invaluable and the experiences occured have been A rollercoaster of ups and downs.

Going back would have I done some things differently? Yes for sure. However you just don't know how things will go when you are doing things for the first time, all while hoping everyone will enjoy their meals and time spent stopping in.

That has always and will still continue to be our goal. Good, simple, and quality meals that everyone can enjoy. This year there will be some changes with the menu and how things will operate over the winter.

Of course though, this all means nothing without the support of everyone that has stopped by and tried out the place❤️. This truly has been the best place to start out at, in the great friendly community.

Here's to the next year now,🥂And once again thank you everyone for the opportunity for us to provide you all great quality meals at A great location. Right here in Raymond 😊
