Hi, it’s Hannah — the owner of Hannah’s Vietnamese Pho Restaurant in Quesnel, BC. ❤️

For the past five years, Hannah’s has been more than a restaurant to me. It has been a place where I could share a little piece of Vietnamese culture with our community — through food, stories, and sometimes, simply through a cup of tea.

Over the years, my parents would send me Vietnamese tea from home. I would brew it and share it with friends and customers at the restaurant. I began noticing how much people enjoyed it, especially those looking for herbal teas with little or no caffeine.

Their interest planted a small idea in my mind:

What if I could bring Vietnamese herbal teas to Canada and share them with more people?

That little idea stayed with me. 🌱

I began learning about tea, sourcing, importing, packaging, and everything involved in bringing a product from Vietnam to Canada. Along the way, I kept coming back to something deeply connected to my Vietnamese roots — the lotus. 🪷

And that is how Lotus Rite™ began.

Inspired by Vietnamese lotus traditions, Lotus Rite is about more than tea. It is about creating a small ritual in our busy lives — a moment to slow down, pause, breathe, and simply be present.

Our journey is just beginning, and there is still so much for me to learn. But just as Hannah’s grew with the love and support of this wonderful community, I hope Lotus Rite can grow one cup, one story, and one connection at a time.

Look at all these sweet gifts my girls prepared for me and my family! 🥹❤️ Everything is so thoughtful, so lovely, and made with so much love. My heart is so full!

From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much to all of our amazing customers, followers, and my sweetest staff for all the beautiful gifts, kind words, and well wishes for me and my family. We feel so loved and so blessed to have such wonderful people in our lives.

After 5 years away from home, we’re finally going back to Vietnam to spend time with our parents and family, and we know it’s going to be a very special trip.

I’ll miss seeing all of you while we’re away, but I can’t wait to come back, give everyone a big hug, and serve you again. Thank you for always supporting us and being part of our little Hannah’s family. Love you all! ❤️🇻🇳

Dear Valued Customers,

We would like to let you know that our restaurant will be temporarily closed starting this Saturday through August 2nd, as we will be traveling to Vietnam to visit our parents and family after being away from our home country for five years.

We will resume regular business hours on August 3rd.
