BIG THANK YOU AND HAWAA!

To the musicians, the staff, the customers! You guys showed up to support a local family and I couldn't be more grateful and proud!

I won't disclose how much was raised because it's going to a private cause and family, but I'm fairly certain it was the biggest amount we've ever donated!

So, we're not gonna do dinner service tonight to give us a chance to set up for tonight's event and maybe let people eat somewhere else, you guys emptied our stock this week!

Please come and support tonight's cause, every bit helps! This is something where you can truly make a difference.

Okay, next weekend we're doing a thing.

I don't think I need to go on a spiel about the cause, many of you know Phil and Hannah or their children and understand everything they're going through. I have been fortunate to call Phil a friend for years and want to show my support and have the community show theirs.

It will be a cash event, so be prepared. There will also be an entry fee of $20 that will get you a ticket you can exchange for a drink of your choice at the bar, and 100% of ticket proceeds go to the family.

Its a big lineup, show some support, show some love to your neighbours and local artists.

As always, Hawaa for the kindness and loyalty.

Hawaas to the performers, volunteers and musicians who put SO much work into organization and scheduling this event, I feel so fortunate to play host.

Recently we had an unfortunate scenario, where a pair of patrons decided that transphobic and homophobic speech would be broadcast within the pub. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. Not within these walls and I do not view it as acceptable outside the pub as well. Bigotry is not welcome. Needless to say, the pair of patrons will not be tolerated in future.
