🇹🇭 Have You Tried Our Thai Dishes Yet?

Thai Cashew Chicken and Thai Chicken Green Curry are two of the Asian dishes we introduced about two weeks ago. Have you had a chance to try them yet?

We actually have many more dishes we’d love to introduce, including favourites like Pad Thai and Mango Sticky Rice! Unfortunately, our current kitchen setup isn’t quite ready for some dishes yet, and some ingredients, especially for Mango Sticky Rice, are already becoming harder to get as the season comes to an end.

❤️ Your Feedback Will Help Us Decide What Comes Next!

If we receive great feedback and see strong demand for our Asian dishes, we may consider opening a new location dedicated to Asian cuisine in the future!

Alternatively, we may explore adding a few more Asian dishes to our existing menu during the shoulder seasons, giving our customers more variety when the summer rush slows down.

For now, we’d love to hear what you think! Have you tried our Thai dishes yet? And what other Asian dishes would you like to see on our menu?

Your support and feedback will help us decide what to introduce next!

🍤 NEW DISH #9 — Wonton Crusted Shrimp 🍤
Get It Before It’s Gone for the Season!

Enjoy 8 crispy shrimp coated in crushed spring roll pastry and fried until golden, served with fries!

We first introduced this dish earlier this summer at Fryday Sundae Café in Cavendish and Brackley Beach, and we’re excited to have brought it to Rick’s in St. Peter’s Bay for you to enjoy!

However, Wonton Crusted Shrimp is available in limited quantities and may sell out soon! If you haven’t tried it yet, now is your chance before it’s gone for the season.

As we approach the end of the season, some of our special dishes have already sold out and will be returning next summer, including our Clam Digger Fries and Lobster Spring Rolls.

❤️ Should we bring Wonton Crusted Shrimp back to Rick’s next summer too? Let us know in the comments! 👇

🕛 Open Daily in September, 12 PM–7 PM

🍨 Ice Cream Nachos — Now at Rick’s!

We just introduced our Mini Pancake Sundae this week, so we also wanted to remind you about another Fryday Sundae Café signature favourite that we’ve brought to Rick’s — Ice Cream Nachos!

At Rick’s, we’ve given it a little twist by serving it with hard ice cream instead of soft serve.

Warm, fried tortilla chips dusted with icing sugar, served with two hard ice cream sundaes for dipping. Each sundae is topped with your choice of sauce, whipped cream, and a cherry.

Pick two different sauces, dip the warm crispy chips into your favourite sundae, and enjoy!

🇹🇭 NEW DISH #6 — Thai Chicken Red Curry

Next up in our September new-menu series is Thai Chicken Red Curry — a classic Thai curry made with tender chicken, vegetables, coconut cream, Thai red curry paste, and aromatic herbs, served with steamed jasmine rice. 🍛

We use authentic Thai ingredients to bring you the rich, creamy, slightly spicy flavour you’d expect from a traditional Thai red curry.

In Thai, red curry is called Kaeng Phet:
“Kaeng” means curry, and “Phet” means spicy — literally, “spicy curry.” 🌶️

This is one of our new September dishes at Rick’s Fish & Chips and Seafood House, and we’d love to hear what you think! Your feedback will help us decide which new dishes should return as permanent menu items next summer.

🥟 NEW DISH #5 — Shrimp Wonton Soup

This is one of the Asian dishes many of you have been asking for — Wonton Soup!

Instead of the traditional pork wontons commonly found in Chinese restaurants, we’re making ours with shrimp wontons to give it a seafood twist that fits right in at Rick’s Fish ’n’ Chips & Seafood House. 🦐

Each bowl comes with 16 oz of warm, savoury broth and 5 hand-folded shrimp wontons.

And with the weather starting to get a little cooler, it’s the perfect time for something warm and comforting.

🦞 NEW DISH #4 — Lobster Rangoon

We introduced this one a few weeks ago, and the feedback has been great — so Lobster Rangoon is staying on the menu for you to enjoy through the end of the season!

Each order comes with 6 hand-folded wontons filled with lobster, po***ck surimi, cream cheese, mayo and our own seasoning, then fried until golden and crispy. Served with our homemade sweet & tangy dipping sauce.

This is another of our Asian-fusion dishes, inspired by classic Crab Rangoon but given a PEI twist with a touch of lobster flavour. Crispy on the outside, creamy and savoury inside, with just a hint of lobster in every bite.
