After years of laughter, friendship, hard work, and taking incredible care of our guests, one of The Beamish House’s most beloved team members is hanging up her apron and heading into retirement.
If you’ve celebrated a birthday at The Beamish over the years, chances are Laurel was there making it extra special. From leading the birthday song to making guests feel like family, she truly became our Queen of Birthdays.
And who could forget Laurel’s famous birthday signs? For years, she has been spreading smiles throughout Port Hope with her handmade birthday messages, making people feel celebrated and loved on their special day. Those signs have become a part of our community, just like Laurel herself.
