There is something so special about living in a valley filled with such incredible abundance. 🍓🍑🫐

Whether it’s flash freezing fresh blackberries from last night’s farmers market, bringing home fresh peaches, rhubarb, blueberries, or strawberries from Shelter Farm — we love gathering up the beautiful produce grown right here in our valley.

Taking the time to preserve it and prepare it for the winter means that our muffins, baking, and creations can continue to be made with fresh, local ingredients even when the seasons change.

Thank you, Port Alberni and Vancouver Island, for sharing your amazing harvest with us. Your support of local growers allows us to bring a little taste of our beautiful valley into everything we make. 💕

☕💙 A Cup of Kindness for Ty Watson Hospice 💙☕

We are so grateful for the amazing support our community has shown during our cup fundraiser for Alberni Valley Hospice Society and Ty Watson House.

These beautiful cups were kindly donated, and every donation helps support the incredible work they do right here in our community — providing comfort, compassion, and care for local families when they need it most.

A simple cup of coffee can make a difference. Thank you to everyone who has stopped by, donated, and helped spread a little kindness. 💙

Well, I’m officially back from a lovely camping trip, and I have to say a huge thank you to my amazing staff for holding down the fort while I was away. They absolutely rocked it! ❤️
