🍂🔮 THE FALL & WINTER DRINKS HAVE ARRIVED! 🔮🍂

Sweater weather, crisp mornings, rainy afternoons, and an entirely reasonable excuse to drink something warm and delicious. Our Fall & Winter Drink Features are officially here at Witch’s Brew! ☕️✨

🎃 Harvest Hex — Our Pumpkin Spice Macchiato with pumpkin sauce, espresso and steamed milk, finished with a sprinkle of cinnamon.

🍎 Poisoned Apple — Hot apple c***r with caramel syrup. Sweet, cozy and just a little dangerous. 🍏☠️

🌙 Maple Moon — A Maple Brown Sugar Latte with espresso, steamed milk, maple and brown sugar flavours. Warm, smooth and made for chilly days.

❄️ Midwinter Hex — Our Peppermint Mocha made with espresso, dark chocolate sauce and peppermint. Rich, chocolatey and cool-weather perfection.

📖 Gingerbread Grimoire — A creamy Gingerbread White Hot Chocolate with gingerbread syrup, finished with white chocolate drizzle and a festive sprinkle.

🍂 Our new menus aren’t quite ready… but our SOUP definitely is! 🥣✨

As promised, we’re officially back to our Fall & Winter Menu, and today we’ve got a big pot of homemade Turkey Vegetable Soup ready to warm you up. Pair it with one of our Pulled Pork & Coleslaw Sandwiches and call lunch handled. 🖤

The bakery case is restocked and FULL, and our brand-new Fall & Winter drink syrups have officially arrived too! ☕️🍁

We’re open 9–4 today!

I’m away from the café sick today, but Destiny & Khol are holding down the fort and have you covered!

🍂✨ THE SEASON IS SHIFTING… AND SO ARE WE ✨🍂

The Fall Equinox is here — a moment of balance between light and dark, and a little reminder from nature that it’s okay to slow down, reset, and turn inward. 🖤

Today also happens to be our first Tuesday closed for winter hours, and after the whirlwind of Toy Run weekend, the timing feels pretty perfect.

So today, we’re embracing the slower pace.

🍁 Open the windows and let the crisp, clean air in.
🕯️ Light your favourite candle.
☕ Make something warm and actually sit down to enjoy it.
🍂 Take a walk and notice the season changing.
🧹 Clear out something that’s been weighing down your space.
📖 Read, bake, journal, nap — whatever makes your nervous system happy.
✨ Think about what you want to carry into this next season… and what you’re ready to leave behind.

No elaborate ritual required. Sometimes welcoming a new season is simply giving yourself permission to do less.

That’s exactly what we’re doing today.

🎃🔮 IT’S OFFICIALLY WITCH’S BREW SEASON! 🔮🎃

As much as we LOVE summer, the sunshine and the heat… we can’t exactly pretend we aren’t ridiculously excited that fall is finally here. 🍂🖤

First though, a huge THANK YOU to everyone for your patience over the last couple of weeks while we worked through being short staffed and while I was away with the Port Alberni Toy Run this last week. Things were a little chaotic around here, and we truly appreciate everyone who rolled with the changes and continued to support us. 🖤

Now that the Toy Run is behind us for another year, and the Fall Equinox is right around the corner, we’re rolling into our Fall & Winter Hours starting this week.

Which means…

🍂 Sweater weather
☕ Hot drinks
🎃 Pumpkin everything
👻 Halloween is getting closer
🔮 And Witch’s Brew is entering its natural habitat.

AND because cozy season requires cozy food…

Hey everyone! Due to an unexpected staffing shortage, along with my involvement in the upcoming Port Alberni Toy Run, we’ve had to make some temporary changes to our hours over the next week and a half.

Here’s what you need to know:

☕ Thursday, Sept. 10: 9 AM–2 PM
Kitchen closes at 1 PM

☕ Friday, Sept. 11: 9 AM–4 PM

🚫 Saturday, Sept. 12: CLOSED

☕ Sunday, Sept. 13: 9 AM–2 PM

☕ Monday, Sept. 14: 9 AM–4 PM
Kitchen CLOSED — drinks & bakery items available all day!

☕ Tuesday, Sept. 15: 9 AM–2 PM
Kitchen closes at 1 PM

🚫 Wednesday, Sept. 16: CLOSED
🚫 Thursday, Sept. 17: CLOSED
🚫 Friday, Sept. 18: CLOSED
🚫 Saturday, Sept. 19: CLOSED

🏍️ BUT — come find us Saturday, September 19th at the Port Alberni Toy Run Vendor Show at the Glenwood Centre! We’ll be up there for the day serving up some Witch’s Brew goodies and supporting an amazing event For the Kids! 🖤

Please remember that whenever our kitchen is closed, you can still stop in for drinks and bakery goodies during our posted café hours. ☕🧁

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. Between an unexpected staffing shortage and Toy Run commitments, we’re doing our best to keep things running while working with significantly fewer hands than usual.

Ahhh yes… two of our favourite questions. 😂

“Can I get a cake for tomorrow?”

And its equally terrifying cousin…

“How much for a cake?”

Well Susan, DEPENDS ON THE FU***NG CAKE. 🤣
Are we talking 5” vanilla with some pretty piping… or a 4-tier replica of Hogwarts with working electricity and a tiny edible Harry Potter?! WE NEED DETAILS. 😂

And as much as we love you all, custom cakes require this pesky little thing called time. Apparently buttercream, baking and decorating cannot yet be summoned by witchcraft. 🔮🎂

Believe me, if I figure out that spell, you’ll be the first to know. 😂
