Cleaning the teaware shelves! It was kept in the kitchen and gathered up some gunk. Now in the tea room, it deserves a refreshing clean… and next some organization! I already know what will be staying and moving!

I’m running a tea blending class next month where you’ll be tasting a variety of herbs.

This is directed by you and the group. You’ll pick out the herbs you want to try… whichever I have available.

If there’s something you’ve been itching to try, or curious about, let me know so I can make sure it’s there.

I only take suggestions from people who have bought a seat for the class. So… go get one at Turn of the Tides before October 25th.

Celebrating tea synchronicities during a transitional time in the season!

I knew I wanted to celebrate fall equinox somehow, but I didn’t have a plan. I’ve been sitting with the idea to make a new chai blend for quite some time now. As well, to make a homemade pumpkin spice mixture for lattes, tea or coffee.

Thus, I went on a quest with my little babe to gather ingredients. Something in the air sent me to work with plants today, and somehow I started making chai on chai day.

A new signature chai blend is on the way, once I perfect it. As you know, MeccaTea blends are made to be delicious before you add any milk to them. For this, I’m quite aware that milk may or will be added, especially for lattes, so I am keeping that in mind!
