Whether you're gearing up with the kids back in school, or winding down after a busy tourism season, this crisp fall weather is the perfect opportunity to slow down and enjoy a cup of tea.

Around the equinox, day and night stand in equilibrium, and the sun points us towards the next half of the year. Light and dark come into balance before the scales start to tip again. A fixed moment to stop and reflect before moving forward.

We’d like to take this opportunity firstly to show our appreciation to our team. This season came with many challenges, big and small, and some monumental wins. With every challenge, they came together and rose above it with an incredible energy. They are an unstoppable force, truly a sight to behold. For them, we are eternally grateful.

And of course to each and everyone who walked through our doors and allowed us to do what we love to do most. To our regulars who endured the crowds and wait times, and to those who traveled from far and wide to visit us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Okay, so this is definitely not the fun and exciting post we can't wait to share with you (which is definitely still coming, we promise). This is a PSA about some temporary changes to our hours.

We'll be open our usual 8am to 3pm, with the kitchen open at 10am for brunch, from Thursdays to Mondays, and closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

This wasn't an easy decision to make for us, being consistently open for you has always been a priority. But the bigger priority is the mental and physical health of our small but mighty crew, who are feeling a little stretched right now. Not to worry though, help is on the way and we'll be back to 7 days before you know it.

Winter brings rest as a necessity, but what was hidden in the colder months is now beginning to sprout, not yet in full bloom but unfurling quietly. How far we've come in the dark.

We're moving forward into a powerful season with courage, intention, and clarity. New beginnings, the first page of a book, a turning point.
