Mother-daughter duo Terry and Marie named the café after their (great) grandfather Victor Rose in memory of his love for art, social justice and togetherness. And sometimes, your drink is already waiting by the time you make it to the cash.

Victor Rose is a permanent drop-off location for the West Island Mission, which means you can bring a donation with you anytime you stop by for your coffee.

If you have a few extra non-perishable items at home, bring them along on your next visit and add them to our collection basket. Small contributions from a lot of neighbours can make a meaningful difference in our community.

Our Matcha Lemonade starts with our house-made lemonade concentrate, using a recipe from Toody Kemp, then stirred with matcha, and served over ice.

This month, we’re honoured to host an exhibition from Maison WILOH (West Island Life Oasis Home), featuring artwork created by talented adult artists with intellectual disabilities and/or autism.

At the heart of Maison WILOH is a belief we share deeply: everyone deserves the opportunity to create, contribute, and belong.

So next time you’re in for a coffee, take a little extra time to wander the walls, discover the artists, and experience their work.

A big thank you to our Victor Rose community for giving our team a little time to rest, recharge and enjoy a well-deserved summer break. And thank you for your patience while we were away.

We’re back behind the bar, the espresso machine is on, and we’re ready to get back to our regularly scheduled programming.

We are looking for individuals who have prior experience in the service industry: whether in cafes, restaurants, or kitchens, and either as baristas, kitchen staff, servers, or cashiers.

Barista experience is always preferred but not mandatory. Our team will teach you☕!

We are looking for availability throughout the week and weekend (min. 15 hours per week/3 shifts).
