A HEARTFELT UPDATE FROM BUBBA SHADY’S BBQ ❤️🐷

Unfortunately, we have some disappointing news to share this morning.

At Bubba Shady’s, we prep and cook our food fresh ahead of each service and carefully hold our finished meats at safe temperatures in our commercial warmers. Sometime overnight, one of our warmers failed, and we arrived this morning to find that our product was no longer being held at the temperature we require.

We take food safety extremely seriously. While throwing away a large amount of food that we worked hard to prepare is heartbreaking, there was never a question about what we would do.

If we can’t confidently serve it to our own families, we won’t serve it to yours.

Because everything we serve takes time to properly smoke, cook and prepare, we simply cannot replace that amount of fresh product in time for today’s service.

For that reason, Bubba Shady’s BBQ will be CLOSED today, Saturday, August 15.

We know some of you make a special trip to come see us, and we are truly sorry for the inconvenience and disappointment.

The good news is we’ll be at the restaurant today with the pits rolling, starting fresh and preparing everything again for Sunday. 🔥🐷

We WILL be OPEN Sunday at 11:30 AM, with fresh BBQ ready to go.

Sometimes equipment lets you down. Our standards won’t.

Thank you for understanding, supporting our little BBQ joint, and trusting us to always put the safety and quality of the food we serve first.

⏰ Please note: We open at 11:30 AM each day — not a minute sooner. Our team uses every minute before opening to get everything ready so we can serve you the best BBQ possible.

A few reminders:

We prepare fresh each day, and it’s first come, first served. This helps keep things fair for everyone and ensures the quality of the food we serve.

🚨 A Friendly Reminder From Bubba Shady’s BBQ 🚨

First off, thank you to everyone who continues to support us. We truly appreciate every one of you! ❤️

To help things run as smoothly as possible during service, here are a few important reminders:

🚫 We DO NOT accept pre-orders.
🚫 We DO NOT take online orders.
🚫 We DO NOT hold or reserve food ahead of time.

Everything we serve is smoked fresh and prepared in advance based on what we expect to sell for the weekend. Once it’s gone, it’s gone!

If you’re planning to feed a large family gathering or event, please understand that we cannot sell large portions of our weekend protein inventory. We prepare enough food to serve everyone who makes the trip, and pulling large quantities from our weekend stock means other customers may miss out.

🍽️ Our catering calendar is now FULL for the remainder of this season. We sincerely appreciate the incredible support from everyone who booked us, and we look forward to serving you at your upcoming events!

If we were accepting ✅ Large protein orders we require a minimum of TWO WEEKS’ NOTICE so we can schedule and smoke additional product specifically for your order.

📞 You may have noticed we no longer have a public phone number. That decision wasn’t made lightly. During service we’re simply too busy serving customers to answer calls, and the majority of phone calls were asking the same questions about pre-orders, whether we were sold out, or what our hours were.

For that reason, our hours, updates, and announcements are always posted on our page and Google Business listing. They’re the quickest and most accurate places to find the latest information before making the drive.

🔥 We’re OPEN Thursday through Sunday from 11:30 AM to 6:00 PM… or until SOLD OUT. If history tells us anything, there’s a very good chance we’ll sell out, so if you’ve got your heart set on authentic Texas BBQ, we strongly recommend coming earlier in the day for the best selection.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support. These policies allow us to focus on what matters most—serving every guest the best authentic, wood-fired Texas BBQ possible.
