Yesterday, one of our lovely customers arrived with a bag of freshly picked blackcurrants from their garden. 💜

By this morning, they’d found their way into this upside-down blackcurrant cake, baked fresh and served on the counter today.

One of the best things about this time of year is the abundance of seasonal produce. We love using ingredients at their very best, and right now blackcurrants are hard to beat.

As we settle into summer, the kitchen starts filling with produce we have been waiting for all year. Apricots, gooseberries, raspberries, cherries, peaches, nectarines & all the other fruits that make seasonal baking such a pleasure.

This rustic apricot farmhouse bake is today’s excuse to celebrate them 🍒🍑🍅🫐

We’re excited for a warm, summer evening tomorrow — perfect pizza weather!

✨ Pizza evening starts from 16:00

🍕 There is availability at 16:00, and if you’d like to reserve a table please send us a message 📩

🪑 We have one table for 2–4 people available between 17:00–19:30
(please note: this is a high table)

🌿 Our terrace will be open, and walk-ins are very welcome

🍕Takeaway is also available — just order in person at the café and your food will be ready in around 15 minutes

Hospitality is facing huge cost pressures, while the UK charges one of the highest VAT rates on hospitality in Europe. The campaign is calling for VAT on hospitality to be reduced from 20% to 10%, helping local businesses protect jobs, invest in their communities and remain viable.

We’re delighted to announce the dates for our Café Bouchère x CleanCrust Pizza Evenings this summer.

Join us from 4:00pm–8:30pm for authentic Neapolitan pizza, great wine, and relaxed summer evenings in the café and on our beautiful terrace.

✨ Indoor tables can now be reserved.
✨ Outdoor tables are available on a first come, first served basis.
✨ Takeaway available throughout the evening.
