Degenhardt's European Sausage Farm

The Degenhardt family arrived in Canada from Germany in 1985, settling in New Brunswick. Reinhard, Emmi and their two sons Ralf and Remo brought with them their original and genuine homemade recipes. Degenhardt Sausage Farm is a family owned business that started in 1985 making one product, salami, which gave them a sterling reputation. This quickly spread amongst the local markets in Moncton and

Dieppe they attended every Saturday. After a short period of time the Degenhardt brand grew and the German Bratwurst sausage was created. In 1996 their youngest son Remo spent two years in Germany studying the Authentic European Cuisine. Upon his return to Canada, he furthered his studies in meat processing. Remo's expertise brought a new dimension to the Degenhardt company by delivering a vast variety of delicious products with authentic taste. Today Degenhardt’s European Sausage Farm makes over 60 different varieties of meat products including:
- Sausages
- Deli meat
- Marinated Pork & Turkey
- Specialty Smoked meat products

Degenhardt’s can still be found at the local Moncton and Dieppe markets every Saturday. Degenhardt’s products can also be found at many meat markets, Country Stores and Sobeys Grocery stores throughout Moncton, Saint John, Fredericton and all areas in between.
