Happy Fry Day friends of The SHED

We love the recent crop of potatoes 🥔 we’re sourcing, these russets are turning out the best fresh cut fries. Combined with our secrets to deliver golden fries, you are in for a treat again this season.

We go through hundreds of pounds of potatoes in our week and take great pride to ensure they are fresh cut daily.

We had a great opening weekend so thank you all. From the start with huge lines and actual cheering when we opened 🎉
We did sell out both Friday & Saturday before our closing time.
I didn’t get many pictures but we got some loyal friends pictures here Old School Championship Bass Series and even our youngest supporter’s.

We are open today till
⏰ 6pm today and still serving.
Call 📞 613-687-4040 if you want to guarantee an order before our closing.

We will be back Thursday at 1130. We do have to close on Thursday from 2-4:30 as have a catering order for the Garrison.

We have been busy getting things ready for this day, so busy that we haven’t had time to engage here much. The highlight was def having my two little grandsons help along the way 😂 enjoy this little snippet of some of the fun had. You come for the food and leave with a smile is our goal.

We hope to see a few familiar faces today or the weekend for the start of our 11th season. Never did we imagine in 2016 that this idea would last this long. But you all are the reason for us sticking around and we appreciate this more then you will ever know.

The SHED has cracked the doors open and that means good times and summer is around that corner.

See you all this year. We have several things that will slowly be brought on this season also. Can’t wait 😜

It’s been a while, a long 7 months but we are getting ready to sweep out The Shed and power up the eqpt for another season.

We will be celebrating 🎉 10 years this season, and none of this is without your support. You have no idea how big a part you play in keeping us going to serve up some delicious food for you. If you care to share, please tell us what you crave for that first day.

Well friends it’s been quite the winter and it’s still being persistent to stay longer.

But we do have our own forecast to open in May, exact date to come soon.

So let’s see who would like to join our team this year, we don’t have many spots but we do need help to keep up with the seasons demand.

2025 was another great year, with lots of new faces and more familiar ones. We appreciate your support throughout the season, and look forward to serving up some more delicious food in 2026.

Happy Tibb’s Eve to everyone back home and here in the Valley. Be responsible but have a great Tibbs Eve night.

Now for the look back at the weekend.

What a Tibb’s party it was at The Petawawa Royal Canadian Legion on Saturday. Thanks once again to all that attended. It was a smashing success, we were told this was the best one so far (truth be told every year seems to top the last). Thanks to all that helped make the night a success. From the family and friends at the door and everyone that volunteered their efforts.

Here’s a few snaps from the night. Please comment with any you have or want to share.
The mummers were out in record numbers, and danced it up.
The meal was on point as always thanks to the Legion Ladies Auxiliary.
Music from Sidewinder again lifted the roof.

hey friends !!

Well it’s been a while and we’ve been pretty busy. Between some travel to the beaches of Miami to the shores of Nfld ✈️

Now we are only 9 days from one of Petawawa’s most talked about parties
the 4th Annual Tibb’s Eve Party 🎉

Jackie and I have been meeting several
times and laying down the plan for this years party. We have a couple twists and turns this year but for the most part it’s gonna be the same awesome party. Jackie Durnford - Century 21 Aspire Realty Ltd.

Wait till she reveals her giveback to you the party goers this year, it’s gonna be epic and in true Jackie fashion you will totally understand this years big giveaway !! No more on this from me 😂

Today, 11 November is a day of Remembrance for those that paid the ultimate sacrifice before us.

We also take time to remember the fallen in more recent conflicts as the impact of loss continues to weigh heavy on our Veterans.
