Okay. We’re not emotionally prepared for this one…
After years of serving, training, mentoring, organizing, laughing, caring and giving so much of herself to Elma, our girl Ebony is leaving us.
We’re thrilled for her next chapter, but we’re going to miss her like crazy.
Ebony has been a part of the Elma team since the beginning. She wasn’t sure she had the “class” for Turkish hospitality or a dinner service like ours.
Plot twist: she was exactly what we needed.
She brought heart ❤️
Ebony helped define what great service looks like here. She trained and mentored countless team members, set the bar for hospitality, stepped in wherever she was needed and kept everything SO organized 😂
But her impact went far beyond the work. She helped create the feeling of Elma.
Our guests ask for her, remember her and mention her in reviews because Ebony has a rare gift for making people feel seen, welcomed and genuinely cared for.
Mike and Ayse welcomed Ebony like family from the beginning, and over the years, she became an essential part of ours. We are incredibly grateful for everything she has given Elma and all of us.
Now she’s beginning a new adventure with a local wealth management team and starting a career in finance.
They are ridiculously lucky to have her. And we think they’ve quickly realized that.
We, meanwhile, will have to figure out who is going to reorganize everything now?! 😂
Sunday, September 13 is Ebony’s final day serving at Elma.
If Ebony has ever made your night, cared for your family, helped you celebrate or simply made you feel welcome, come see her one more time.
Make a reservation through Tock and put “Ebony” in the reservation notes. We’ll do our best to make sure she gets to serve you for one last dinner.
Come eat, laugh, give her a hug and raise a glass as we send one of the very best people to ever grace the floor of Elma into her next chapter.
Ebony, you are part of the story of Elma. You helped make this place warmer, stronger and more welcoming simply by being part of it.
We love you, we’re so proud of you, and yes… we’re going to miss the hell out of you. ❤️
