🚒❤️ A COMMUNITY THANK YOU TO OUR FIREFIGHTERS ❤️🚒
Like many in our community, I was deeply saddened to hear of the devastating fire that destroyed the future long term care facility in Penticton.
While the loss of the building is significant, what stood out most was the incredible response from the Penticton Fire Department, neighboring fire departments, BC Ambulance, RCMP, and all first responders who worked tirelessly through difficult and dangerous conditions.
Today, I had the privilege of visiting the Penticton Fire Hall to personally thank some of these local heroes and deliver 24 Theo’s souvlaki box lunches as a small token of appreciation from our team.
No meal could ever fully express our gratitude for what these men and women do every day, but it is our way of saying thank you for your courage, professionalism, and commitment to keeping our community safe.
Penticton is fortunate to have such an outstanding group of first responders serving our city.
Please join me in thanking all the crews who responded to this tragic fire.
