PARENTS this is for you!
Enjoy some time to yourself while watches your kiddo/s.
How it works👇🏼

• available on the 1st & 3rd Friday each month
• register your kiddo via our website Events page
• drop off your kiddo at Sol Dance at 9:30am and head down to One14 Coffee Co and enjoy 1.5 to yourself or with friends
• One14 will have a $10 food & beverage credit waiting for you to spend on the day (money can not be carried over to other days) anything over $10 must be paid at time or purchase
• pickup kiddo at 11am from Sol Dance Studios
• we need a minimum of 4 children to make these events happen to gather, tell your friends so we can keep them going
• should we not have enough to make the date happen and you have paid, we can refund your money or transfer it to another date
• $15 per parent/child and $8 for any additional siblings
• 1.5 yr age minimum required and we only have 4 spots available for age 1.5-2 yrs and 10 spots total each Friday

The first one will take place on Friday May 15th and the next one on Friday June 5th.

Happy Earth Day! 🌏
At One14 Coffee Co. we have always been committed to being as environmentally friendly as possible. It started with our commitment to finding a coffee cup that was low impact and as soon as we found we knew we were on track.

But we don't stop there. We recycle as much as we can, taking items to the recycling depot monthly. We compost all coffee grounds and food waste, plants are a big part of our space keeping us grounded and reminding us of nurturing our planet.

When building out our space we used as many found and vintage items that we could. Almost nothing is brand new, saving emissions from deliveries and manufacturing.

Event Announcement!

We are so excited to tell you about Books And Brews, an event designed for coffee and book lovers.

Tell Me More!......................
• Bring in any books that you are no longer using. We want higher quality books about anything, but think arts, culture, special interest, photography, poetry and novels
• Drop off time is between 12-4 Tues-Fri only
• You receive 10% off your coffee and treat order when you drop off your books (discount only available at time of drop off)
• We ask for a phone number and email so that we can contact you with the event date and how many tickets you received for your books
• We will look at your books and grade them. Each book will receive anywhere from 1-4 tickets. It will be based simply on the books original price, quality of the book and relevance to market
• Once we receive enough books and participants we will send out an invite for the event. To be held on a FRIDAY from 5PM - 9PM (we will give two weeks notice of the event to give you time to plan. Event will likely be in 2 months to give enough time for participation)
• We will have DRINKS and SNACKS available to purchase during the event and music. Come and peruse, chat, read, be still and shop.
• Books will be colour coded indicating how many tickets they are worth. You will trade in your tickets for your chosen books, like cash
• Any books that are not claimed will be set aside for the next event
• Any tickets that you don't use can be used at the next event
• Should we not continue the events at any time books will be donated to schools and libraries or you will have the option to take back your books should they not have been claimed. Any unused tickets will be void.
• Should we not receive enough interest in the event and you have dropped off books we will contact you to see if you'd still like to donate your books or would like to pick them up

The One14 Team is growing and we are looking for a part time baker to join us.

° must be available mornings and some weekends as well as some sick day/vacation coverage
° experience is an asset but if you have a passion for baking we are happy to chat
° must have Food Safe
° we are looking for someone who is committed to staying on through next summer and beyond
° there is the opportunity for this role to evolve into a more full time position
° looking for someone that is happy to cross train as a barista to assist during rushes. If you are interested in doing both roles we will need more help in the FOH in the New Year which could add up to a Full Time Role on both areas

We can’t wait to blow your minds with unique cocktails for your sip and shop experience again! The wildly anticipated night is finally almost here- the Vintage Christmas market!! There is an insane amount of incredible vendors, including dinner options and it’s all going down inside the cannery trade centre halls, tomorrow night (Saturday, November 8th) from 5-9!!!

Our Pumpkin Squares with salted caramel on a brown butter shortbread base are just that.
Get them while they last! These babies are seasonal as we only use fresh local pumpkins.

We are closing one hour earlier today so we can prep the kiddos for Halloween. We figure if your not out doing that you'll be prepping for the Blue Jays game anyway ☺️
