A Message from Ashes Family Restaurant & Vintage Arcade

Over the last little while, we’ve seen a number of false and defamatory comments made about our business, our staff, and our owners.

We understand that not everyone will agree with the way we operate, and that’s okay. Honest reviews and respectful criticism are part of running any business. Personal attacks, false accusations, and attempts to damage someone’s reputation are not.

One thing we will never apologize for is keeping Ashes a safe place for our customers, our staff, and our community.

Over the years, we’ve removed customers who couldn’t follow the rules and terminated employees whose actions didn’t meet the standards we expect. Those decisions are never made lightly, but they are made to protect the environment we’ve worked hard to build.

When people are asked to leave or lose their job because of their own behaviour, it’s not uncommon for hard feelings to follow. While we can’t say who is behind any particular post or comment, we recognize that some online negativity may come from people who disagree with the consequences of their own actions.

Our focus has never been on internet drama. It’s on serving great food, creating a fun atmosphere, and providing a safe, welcoming place where families, friends, and our community can enjoy themselves.

To the thousands of customers who continue to support us, thank you. Your loyalty, kind words, and encouragement mean everything to us.

If you ever have a genuine concern about your experience at Ashes, please reach out to us directly. We will always listen and do our best to make things right.

We’ll continue standing by our values, enforcing our rules fairly, and doing everything we can to make Ashes a place that everyone can enjoy.

So my suggestion to you if you plan on doing something illegal or stupid in the bar, we will post it publicly if you don’t like it don’t come to Ashes

🍔 Help Us Launch Our New Menu — One Meal at a Time! ❤️

We’re getting ready to launch our brand-new menu at Ashes Family Restaurant & Vintage Arcade, and we need your help!

Every item on our new menu needs a real photo before we launch. We want to showcase the food exactly as it comes out of our kitchen—no AI, just the real deal.

Here’s how it works:

🍽️ Dine in at Ashes and order any eligible new menu item at regular price.
🍽️ We make TWO of that item.
❤️ One is for you.
❤️ The second is donated to our neighbours at the warming centre.

The challenge?

🎯 Each menu item can only be claimed ONCE.

Once someone orders an item, it’s crossed off the board and can no longer be chosen. Our goal is to make—and photograph—every single item on our new menu while donating a matching meal to someone in need.

This promotion is available for dine-in orders only and runs until every eligible menu item has been claimed.

Come enjoy a great meal, help someone in our community, and be part of the launch of our biggest menu yet!
