🌟 Staff Spotlight – Haley 🌟

Today’s staff spotlight is all about Haley!

Many of you may already recognize Haley from Asian Wok, where she also works. When Jay became sick, Haley stepped in to help our team—and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better person. From day one, she’s been an incredible help, always willing to jump in wherever she’s needed with a positive attitude and a smile.

Outside of work, Haley is a talented artist who loves expressing her creativity. She’s also a proud ferret mom to Robert and Gizmo, who definitely keep life interesting! When she’s not creating art or hanging out with her furry sidekicks, she enjoys spending quality time with her family.

Haley, thank you for everything you’ve done for us over the past little while. Your hard work, kindness, and willingness to help have meant so much to our team, and we’re incredibly grateful to have you with us. ❤️

🌟 Staff Spotlight – Jenna 🌟

Today’s staff spotlight is all about Jenna!

Jenna joined the Mr. Fry Guy team in May, and fun fact—her very first shift was on her 16th birthday! We like to think she was the best birthday gift we could have asked for… although we’re pretty sure she was expecting presents, not a work apron! 🎉😂

From day one, Jenna has been amazing. She’s learned the ropes incredibly quickly, takes on every challenge with confidence, and is always willing to jump in wherever she’s needed. Her positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to help make her a valued part of our team.

When she’s not at work, Jenna is an incredible athlete. This year she earned multiple MVP awards along with a Top Athlete Award at her school’s athletic banquet—an impressive accomplishment that reflects the dedication she brings to everything she does. She’s also a talented hockey player and enjoys spending her free time with family and friends.

Jenna, thank you for all of your hard work and for everything you bring to the team. We’re so lucky to have you as part of the Mr. Fry Guy family. Keep up the amazing work! ❤️

🌟 Staff Spotlight – Jay 🌟

This week we’d like to shine the spotlight on our staff and we are starting with someone who has been a huge part of our team since day one—Jay!

Jay has been cooking in the Ottawa Valley for over 20 years, bringing his experience, passion, and sense of humour to the kitchen every day. Since we took over Mr. Fry Guy, he’s been a dependable part of our team, helping us serve up great food with a smile.

When he’s not at work, Jay and his spouse are the amazing people behind Valley Geekfest, helping bring together our local geek and gaming community. He’s also a big fan of gaming and has an impressive Funko Pop collection!

We’re incredibly grateful for everything Jay does for us and for our customers. His hard work, dedication, and positive attitude make him an invaluable member of our Mr. Fry Guy family.

Some of you may have noticed Jay hasn’t been around lately. He’s been recovering from pneumonia, and while he’s still taking the time he needs to heal, we’re happy to say he’s doing better every day. We can’t wait to welcome him back to the kitchen very soon!
