The mission of Silver Lake Camp is to provide an opportunity to experience outdoor education and exploration in an environment designed to encourage meaningful and collaborative learning. An opportunity for all ages to reconnect to nature, themselves and others. Silver Lake Forestry Center had been in operation for over 40 years and is known for offering quality forest education programs and outdo

or camping experiences to young people between the ages of 7 and 16 years. The Camp includes a brand new lodge with full kitchen, 10 cabins that each sleep 8-10 people, 6 no-fee camping areas and a beautiful lake that is fully stocked with rainbow trout. In order to continue running this education camp that has changed the lives of over 10,000 children in the past 4 years we are asking for the community to come together to show their support by becoming a member or sponsor of Silver Lake Camp! Today is BUG OUT DAY !! For our first theme day of the year we will be having bug corndogs for dinner, and we had caterpillar fruit skewers with breakfast !
We will be playing pollinator tag later today, while also preparing for the first SKIT NIGHT of the year !

It will be an incredible summer! 🌲☀️ From first paddles to final campfires, here's a look back at the memories made at Silver Lake Camp in past summers, the same ones that you can make this summer.

Our mandate is to create space where youth can discover the beauty of the natural world, build new skills, and form lasting friendships. Seeing our campers grow, challenge themselves, and simply play outside is what drives everything we do.

Our fantastic team of youth leaders are dedicated to providing outdoor, forest-based education that goes far beyond traditional teaching.

Whether you're looking for adventure or reflection, there's a place for you here. We can't wait for this summer!
