Every day at Big Dog Diner, our fresh ground beef is weighed, portioned and pressed by hand. Every. Single. Patty.

No boxes of frozen burgers. No giant backup stash hiding somewhere. Just fresh beef and a whole lot of burger pressing.

We have a limited supply of beef so when they’re gone, they’re gone!!

if you’re looking for the freshest possible food look no further. Fresh ground beef from a local butcher farm to table produce and grilled on our charbroiler so all excess grease is burned off …. Practically health food 🤷🏻‍♂️

you guys officially cleaned us out !!

Due to the overwhelming support from our community, Big Dog Diner will be CLOSED tomorrow for Labour Day.

We know we said we’d be open for all holiday Mondays, and that was absolutely the plan. What we didn’t expect was to sell more burgers and chicken sandwiches than normal and quite literally run out of stock.

We use fresh ingredients and fresh meat, and we’re not willing to substitute products or lower our quality just to stay open. We need the day to restock and get ready to go again.

We’re sorry to anyone who planned on stopping by, but we also can’t thank you enough. Being forced to close because you supported us so much that we ran out of food is a pretty incredible problem to have.

At Big Dog Diner, we keep our burgers simple and focus on what matters. Fresh beef seasoned and grilled to order, then topped with the freshest possible produce topped with a toasted sesame bun.

Okay my loyal customers. I need some help. I need to find the funniest quote for this guy. You have 5 days to comment your funniest quote. On the 6th day we will post our top 3 favs and let you vote. Due to the uncertainty surrounding today’s severe weather and the potential safety risks associated with the ongoing tornado and severe thunderstorm warnings, Big Dog Diner will be CLOSED for the remainder of the day.

The safety of our staff and customers will always come first. With conditions changing quickly, we don’t feel it’s worth asking anyone to be out on the roads unnecessarily.

We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate everyone’s understanding.

Stay safe, and we see you tomorrow hopefully. If there’s no heartbreaking post then we’ll be open!!!

Alright everyone I think it’s about time that big dogs give back!!

Over the last year, you guys have given so much to us. You’ve supported our business, shared our posts, brought your families to eat with us, told your friends about us and helped turn Big Dogs into what it is today.

So now we want to use some of that support to do something good for somebody else.

We’re incredibly proud to have teamed up with the Thyroid Foundation of Canada to bring you:

🚗☕ BIG DOG CARS & COFFEE ☕🚗

This isn’t just about getting a bunch of cool cars together on a Sunday morning. The entire reason behind this event is to raise money and awareness for thyroid disease.

Approximately 1 in 8 people or 12% of the global population will develop a thyroid condition during their lifetime, including one of the owners here at Big Dog Diner. That makes this particular cause incredibly personal to us and something we’re very proud to put our name behind.

And we’ve already had some amazing people step up to help us make it happen.

☕ Altitude Coffee Roasters has generously donated all of the coffee AND cups for the event, meaning even more of the money we raise can go directly toward the cause. We’ll also have bags of Altitude coffee available for purchase during the event.

🏁 And this one is pretty damn cool…

We’ll be holding a raffle for a ride-along with a qualified race instructor from grand bend motorplex! If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to experience a racetrack from the passenger seat with someone who actually knows how to drive professionally, here’s your chance.

We’ll have coffee, breakfast sandwiches, a donation jar on site, and 100% of the event proceeds will be donated to the Thyroid Foundation of Canada.

You don’t need an exotic car. You don’t need a muscle or classic car….You don’t even need to bring a car.

Come check them out. Grab some breakfast and a coffee. Enter the raffle. Meet some great people. Learn a little about thyroid disease and help us raise as much money and awareness as we possibly can.
