Great views from above of the
Mississippi River at the historic Pakenham Bridge. The only one span-5 arch stone bridge in North America. One of Lanarks 7 Wonders.

A HUGE thank you to all patrons who visited us last weekend at the Maple Run Tour , we are very appreciative of the great turnout of folks taking the journey in and around Pakenham. We hope you enjoyed the tour as much as we did meeting you.
The organizers wish to thank all the wonderful vendors who make the show vibrant and fun. Happy Easter Sunday.
It's going to be a lovely day to take the .Bring yourself, family, friends, neighbour... takes place in and around the picturesque village of Pakenham. All 7 stops are open from 10am to 4pm. Over 30 talented artisans, artists and food producers will be ready to show you all they have been creating over the winter season. The tour stops cover approx. 40km and can easily be done in a day. www.mapleruntour.com for details, or pick up a brochure at most businesses in the village of Pakenham or look for the green maple leaf tour stop.

Despite the cool wet weather the had a great turnout today.
We'll be back tomorrow from 10 to 4pm. Approx. 40km to do the 7 stops with over 30 artists, artisans and food producers who have created a diverse selection for you to peruse. Our 7 stops are of interest in themselves. A 1890's tailor shop, a cidery, a brewery, a Christmas tree/pumpkin farm, a century old school house, a 5 generation sugar bush and a old homestead. And the beautiful backdrop of the Pakenham 5 arch stone bridge with the spring run off of the Madawaska River. www.mapleruntour.com
