"A point of pride for Owen Sound"

We noticed this restaurant when we were bicycling and were intrigued by their sign claiming "interesting cuisine." Interesting can mean anything, so we had to check it out! Turns out, that's a good word for it. The menu is drawn from many inspirations, and those with a palette for delicious flavors will be pleased. I had the chevapi, sate, and a yin yan joy bowl. Interesting, right? This is a small restaurant, right downtown by the bridge. As a bistro in a small town with a sense of uniqueness, it deserves attention and support!

Do you ever wonder...why do Restaurants have walk in Freezers??? I do also and have seen many many....it tells me a lot when they have them...it tells me iam eating frozen food made God knows where...think about that...to me foods that start with the word Ice like ice cubes...ice cream etc. are for the freezer no?? ok just sayin.....all the best x0 x0

Hello Everyone:)
We are featuring a wonderful Steak Special this weekend....and look it just happens to be Fathers Day also very good....Richard is making a El Paso Steak or made how ever you prefer it...we are using a AAA Canadian Beef New York cut it will be amazing, so please come on in and Celebrate it with us , and of course we have our full menu as well. Richard has some awesome steaks...New York Strip 10 0z or so and our Filet Mignons which are 8 or so oz they are prime cuts and fresh and grilled to how you love them. Good Day to everyone.....I wanted to share with you our latest Health inspection Report....this is a norm for us since we started....food handling and keeping is a huge part of the food business.....you would be amazed at our Bistro Kitchen. Richard keeps it spotless and fresh every day to ensure he can service our important customers.. you can now check out each eating place and there ratings on the Health Department web site and yes you should....we are very proud of our rating and it is a safe place to come and eat a little something wonderful :) We still have a couple tables left for Mother's Day Please give us a call. Also just to let you know there is lots of parking for the Bistro on First Ave E tons of it and it is free after 5PM during the week...and soon will be free all the time from what i hear....so please come and join us. And yes we will be making our wonderful Walnut & Lemon Baklava for the weekend....all the best

Good Day Everyone :) We are back to work and very glad for it, we have missed you all, and hope to see you here again real soon. We did not do much during our R&R time....just enjoyed some together time for a change, as when the Bistro is open Richard is gone from late morning till after 9PM while we are open, so it was very nice played some Backgammon , spring cleaned the house....made some new dreams you know that kind of things. Which brings me to a very important matter....Love Day Valentines Day....for those who have dined with us in the past i dont have to tell you it's one of the most Romantic intimate places to bring your Love to....e have 7 tables that's it , and the Food well absolutely Wonderful, there will be a special valentines Menu as well as our regular menu so you can choose whatever your heart desires. I will be making my special Grapefruit Soup for the evening, and if you can not make it right on February 14th we will be running the same special all week long, we are doing two seatings....and we still have some room i will keep you updated....so please do consider us for dinner for Love Day.

Just to let you know that we are Open Tomorrow November 6th SUNDAY......and are Open Every SUNDAY FOR YOUR dinning pleasure......WHEN YOU WANT A LITTLE SOMETHING DIFFERENT WE WILL BE WAITING ON YOU. aND WE ALSO RUN OUR GREAT pRIX FIX MENU WHICH IS A BARGAIN. SO DO COME ON IN WE WOULD LOVE TO SEE YOU AND SPOIL YOU.
We will be closed this Tuesday and Wednesday November 8th and 9th for some personal business, and reopened Thursday November 10th for our regular hours. Thank you for reading this .
