To all our amazing supporters and community,
We want to make you aware of a very unfortunate incident that happened today at Momo Spot. Please beware of an Uber driver going under the name “Barbara.” It is clear this individual is using someone else’s name (likely a wife or girlfriend).
Within less than a minute, this individual stole one of our most prized possessions from the store — a bottle of Kukuri Rum, a nationally cherished rum from our home country, Nepal. This bottle has been proudly displayed in our restaurant for years and holds deep sentimental value to us.
As you can see in the post, this was a deliberate and disrespectful act. We have already reported this to Uber and are taking this matter seriously.
This kind of behavior is unacceptable. We’re sharing this so other businesses and individuals can stay alert and protected.
Please be cautious and aware.. We appreciate your support more than ever.
