Govinda's Vegetarian Buffet GOVINDA'S is Ottawa's first and oldest vegetarian establishment, since 1981. GOVINDA'S is operated on a non-profit basis. Our motto is “Food for the soul!”

At the moment we provide a dine-in and takeout service at an affordable price. The food prepared at Govinda’s is made with all fresh ingredients and the best intentions.

Dear Govinda’s Ottawa community,

Please note that Govinda’s Ottawa will be closed from May 12th to May 20th.

As a fully volunteer-run operation, several of our core devotees will be away during this period. For planning and scheduling purposes, we felt it would be best to pause operations temporarily and reopen fully with our regular service schedule.

We will reopen on Thursday, May 21st, and resume our regular hours:
Tuesday to Saturday, 5 PM – 7 PM.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support. We look forward to serving you again soon!
