we are so excited to be hosting waabandiwag next weekend!!!

curated by Helena Granger and jayde micah designs , Waabandiwag - ‘Heart Berry’ aims to uplift new and emerging Indigenous artists and provide an opportunity to share their work in a culturally sensitive space.

‘Heart Berry’ is a celebration of Indigenous and Indigiqueer/Two Spirit identities in honour of Indigenous history month and Pride Month. many of the art works speak to lived experience of connection, reconnection, love, belonging, cultural pride and the Two Spirit experience.

join us on June 26th to celebrate the opening of our show, with a performance, free food & drinks (non alcoholic), conversation with many of the artists and a night of celebrating Indigenous culture!

the works will only be on display from June 26th-28th, so make sure to stop by to see them!!

beading circle!!! a little reminder that we host a beading circle every single Sunday from 3pm-6pm 🖤

beading circle is an informal gathering to work on your beadwork projects in a culturally safe and comfy space (that doesn’t have any annoying cats bugging you constantly)!! there is no formal instruction, or specific project, but most participants are able to help out any beginners. we have lots of basic supplies available for participants. there is no cost!

reminder: this is NOT a workshop!!! it’s a social gathering where folks can work on their ongoing beadwork projects.

yknow what’s just around the corner?! tulip festival!!

no better way to prepare for the Ottawa Tulip Festival then to make yourself a cute little beaded pin or keychain!

the workshop will include a drink and house made treat, all supplies provided and instruction from our house beader

it’ll be a fun night of creativity and learning a new art form!

hope we’re not jinxing it, but we think it’s OFFICIALLY nitro cold brew season 🎉🎉🎉

delicious as is, but also great with a flavoured syrup and dairy, nitro cold brew is a customer fave on a beautiful sunny day.

we also have a nitro iced tea!! it’s a black tea, mixed with a touch of lemonade, and it’s super refreshing.

both of these are pouring now, if you haven’t tried em you definitely should 😎
