There is never really a good time to announce something like this, but we wanted to give everyone plenty of notice for one last visit before we close our doors. After many wonderful years, we have made the difficult decision that Yugirolls will be closing at the end of this calendar year (NYE will be our last scheduled opening).
What started as a few eggrolls grew into something far greater than we ever imagined, thanks to an incredible community that embraced us from day one.
A special thank you to Little Jo Berry’s for your friendship over the years, for giving us our first home, and for being the mastermind behind Vegans Who Snack. A big thank you to the folks at Urban Art Collective , Keepin It Vegan , and Natural Food Pantry for your partnership and support over the years.
To the vegan community, thank you for believing in what we were trying to create and helping us spread the word. While Yugirolls didn’t evolve exactly as I originally envisioned, I’m proud of what it became and the many delicious creations that came from the journey.
To the Jewish community, thank you for welcoming us and supporting us throughout the years We are especially grateful to Rabbi T, Rabbi Goldstein, and everyone at Congregation Machzikei Hadas who helped make our current home possible. Your support and partnership allowed us to build something truly unique.
Personally, I want to thank my wife for standing beside me through every challenge and success. Thank you to my parents for the sacrifices, hard work, and recipes that made this business possible. Thank you to Carly, Stephanie, Brent, Ella, Eva, and the many friends who volunteered their time, lent a hand when needed, and helped us through countless events, busy weekends, and long days.
Most importantly, thank you to every customer who visited us, ordered from us, recommended us to a friend, or simply stopped by to say hello. You allowed a small family business to thrive, and we will always be grateful.
