Open Mic tonight!

Doors open at 6:30pm for the infamous Open Mic night at Gino’s Coffee House on Main Street, Osoyoos!

We have musicians who come from all over that play guitar, accordion and even the harp!

There is a different person or band every 3 songs.

Musicians arrive at 6:15pm to sign up for a spot because spots are limited.

There is also a new artist that is featured on our wall of art every Open Mic Night.

🥒 THE GREAT PICKLE CHAMPIONSHIP IS BACK! 🥒

You know Tianna 💜 She’s the brave little girl from our valley fighting cancer, and every pickle in this contest is for her and her family.

Last year it all started with the Barn Owl Eatery, and it was exactly what everyone needed. A little friendly competition, a lot of laughs, and $1,500 raised in pickles alone. Sometimes the silliest things bring out the biggest hearts. This year we’re going bigger. Gallagher Lake Cafe, Back Roads Brewery, Aboriginal Joe’s, and Ogopogo Burgers and Shakes have joined Gino’s Coffee House and Gino’s Family Kitchen, and every spot makes their pickle their own way. Bake ‘em, fry ‘em, brine ‘em.

Monday, August 17 to September 12, grab a pickle on a stick at any participating spot, by donation starting at $2. Every pickle goes directly to supporting Tianna and her family.

Top seller wins a gift basket and bragging rights. But the real win is a little girl knowing her whole valley is in her corner.

Exciting news!
We are officially the new owners of MJ’s Country Kitchen, soon to become Gino’s Family Kitchen.

My late husband, Gino, grew up in Oliver, and we’re so excited to bring his legacy to his hometown and a community that meant so much to him — and to our family.

You can expect many of the MJ’s favourites you already know and love, along with favourites from Gino’s Coffee House in Osoyoos. We’re also happy to be keeping the same familiar staff who have served you so well over the years.

We’re working hard behind the scenes and hope to open the doors soon. We’ll be sharing our menus, hours, and opening date as soon as we can.

It’s been a difficult few days for many families in our surrounding communities. We’re thinking of everyone affected by the fires and evacuations and are extremely grateful to those working hard to keep our communities safe.

Thank you to everyone for your continued support and for cheering us on. We can’t wait to welcome you to Gino’s Family Kitchen — where community comes together.
