We have *exciting* NEWS!
I would like to begin by saying that we are not closing our business however …
Our lease is coming up this summer and we have decided not to continue at our 2 King St East location. We are in our 20+ years of business and there have been so many amazing memories in downtown Oshawa. So many events, concerts, art shows, desserts, music, chats, coffee, late nights, early mornings, weddings! (two to be exact) the list goes on.
We wholeheartedly would like to thank everyone who has supported us since the beginning or someone that just found us this year. It means so much. We are endlessly grateful for your continued support.
We also would love to thank our incredible staff (past and present) that have been an integral part of shaping the cafe. A huge thank to probably Derrick for being an incredible pillar at Isabella’s, keeping daily operations running smoothly, and being an all around gem of a human. And thank you to Linda Moore who has worked tirelessly at our 61 Charles St location while keeping daily tasks running smoothly, maintaining the space - all while working independently.
That said, we are thrilled we will continue to be open (at our second Oshawa location) inside the historic building at 61 Charles Street on the Ontario Tech University downtown campus. If you did not know about this spot, now you know - we opened it in 2022. It is a short 6ish minute walk from 2 King Street - across the street from Tribute Communities Centre
We will remain focused on our catering, coffee, and baking business and will continue to provide the treats and eats you know and love. Come visit Derrick, Linda, and I at 61 Charles Street in the coming months.
In the meantime we plan to be open at 2 King St East until June 25 (I know it’s soon🫣)
