It is with a heavy but grateful heart that we announce the closing of Philipp'n Italian.π₯Ί
It took one year and jumping through multiple hoops to build this space from scratch, turning our vision to reality. The following year and a half, we hoped, fell apart, picked ourselves up, adapted, learned, persisted, and most importantly, we tried our best. This decision didn't come easily, it means admitting that we didn't succeed the way we had wanted to, it means burying part of our souls. π
On the positive note, we started from being a no-name business to repeatedly receiving 5-star reviews on Google; our Filipino & Italian crossover concept surprised so many foodies and now we have many returning customers who can't get enough of our unique flavours; many of you have even become our friends. We will never forget the satisfied smiles showing on customers' faces after they take the first bite, the 'thumbs up' from customers as young as 4 or 5 years old, or the phone calls we get from customers telling us how much they have enjoyed their take outs or catering orders. It means the world to us that you appreciate the effort Chef Peter put in for all the in-house made pastas and sauces. We are glad that you know how to spot "real" good food. ππ₯°
We want to thank all of our friends and families who have supported us since day one. Being a small business owner is not easy, we often neglect and sacrifice our personal life and those who are closest to us in order to chase our dreams. Thank you for your understanding and unwavering commitment. Thank you to the other vendors (aka our market family), we couldn't have walked through this journey without you. Some days, your friendships and the laughters & tears we share were what kept us going.πππ
Closing this door behind us is sad and scary. We don't know where the next door will lead us but we know this is the right thing to do by following our heart.π
It is now time to say goodbye, we may meet again at another place, at another time!
Please continue to support small local businesses, and remember, you are what you eat so choose your food wisely! π
Salamat po! Grazie!π«Άπ
