Well, here we are almost 6 years into our 5 year plan. While we've had a blast doing this, the time has come to step back and spend some more time on our family as well as our physical and mental health. Also, with 30 years at my “other” career, it’s time for me to start thinking about retirement plans. As such, we will be closing on Saturday January 20, 2024 at 4 pm.
We wanted to give those with Gift Certificates an opportunity to redeem them and that's why that particular date.
There have been many hurdles to overcome over the years, and we've been fortunate to have the support to come out on the other side. Our greatest strength has been our staff, past and present who made our customers feel at home.
The relationships built along the way with staff, customers, and the downtown community have had a lasting impact on both Helina and I.
Those customers, are what we will miss most, and the banter and interaction with them.
While unsure exactly what the next chapter will bring, it will be part time so that we can spend more time together as a family.
