Good morning Orillia, hope you are doing well. We are almost there and lots of sunshine and warm weather is waiting for us. Over the years we thought about making this new series call “adventure series” for coffee explorer & lovers. Who loves complexity & focus on quality driven. This series, we carefully sourced with different varieties & process and the coffee that has stories and that cup we really enjoy. We are so excited to share with you. We focus on a good coffee experience just like having a great time with your friends from start to finish. It’s like you are so happy to meet him/her, enjoy the time with the person and when we say good bye we missed the time and cannot wait to meet the person again kind of COFFEE. ☕️ When we are travelling and always think that Orillia is such a cozy beautiful small city that is perfectly pair with beautiful coffee :) Cheers!

Over three decades ago, Edilberto Vergara and Nubia Ayure, two devoted parents, entrepreneurs, and hardworking individuals, embarked on the incredible journey of Finca Las Flores. With a humble beginning of 16 hectares, they poured their hearts into coffee production. The farm's history is a testament to perseverance and dedication to a brighter future.

After Ms. Nubia's passing in 2012, her legacy lived on through her children. Inspired by their mother and their passion for coffee, and Diego transformed the farm's production methods, venturing into specialty coffee and updating varieties. Today, Finca Las Flores boasts an array of coffee varieties, including Tabi, Red Bourbon, Java, Maracatura, Pink Bourbon, Gesha, and Catura Chiroso.

The brothers' dedication shines through in their high-quality coffee, with Diego overseeing production and Johan crafting innovative processing methods. This is the cup that I really enjoyed and brought back some home. Can’t wait to share with you all. It is Java Variety that has berry fruit forward note, passion fruits, very delicate mouth feel. This will be our adventure series number #1 Cheers!

We are in Baraya where all the small, micro-lot farm is located. We gathered and taste coffee and share our thoughts with producers & farmers. One of the purpose is to find the small farm that operated by generation by generation that not many of us know. We cupped their production and find out that their quality has lot of potential and they were surprised by our thoughts. Some producers do not know their coffee is that good. This was one of my best experience over all and taught in many ways. Muchas Gracias 🙏

What an honour to be invited to share our thoughts on the amazing Colombian coffee. With 800 coffee associations, we wished to meet more farmers and producers, but time was limited. We're humbled to be surrounded by such dedication and appreciated the opportunity to review their hard work carefully. Thank you for your expertise, and Andrea for your translation support. Every coffee was impressive, and some showed great potential. We'll be back.

We spent the day in Colombia meeting students dedicated to coffee studies at the University. It was fantastic to see their enthusiasm and learn about their lab work. 4AM arrival in Colombia 🇨🇴 and we met the incredible Yoni and Joanne, our guides and hosts who are passionate coffee producers. Such a beautiful couple! Coffee is truly love, as they say. Shoutout to for the phenomenal cup - one of the best we've experienced! :) They're champions with numerous awards 🏆. We're having a blast sharing thoughts and can't wait to bring some competition coffee to you! Thanks for supporting us - Vamos!!!
