Over three decades ago, Edilberto Vergara and Nubia Ayure, two devoted parents, entrepreneurs, and hardworking individuals, embarked on the incredible journey of Finca Las Flores. With a humble beginning of 16 hectares, they poured their hearts into coffee production. The farm's history is a testament to perseverance and dedication to a brighter future.
After Ms. Nubia's passing in 2012, her legacy lived on through her children. Inspired by their mother and their passion for coffee, and Diego transformed the farm's production methods, venturing into specialty coffee and updating varieties. Today, Finca Las Flores boasts an array of coffee varieties, including Tabi, Red Bourbon, Java, Maracatura, Pink Bourbon, Gesha, and Catura Chiroso.
The brothers' dedication shines through in their high-quality coffee, with Diego overseeing production and Johan crafting innovative processing methods. This is the cup that I really enjoyed and brought back some home. Can’t wait to share with you all. It is Java Variety that has berry fruit forward note, passion fruits, very delicate mouth feel. This will be our adventure series number #1 Cheers!
