Dear friends and valued customers,
It is with a flurry of mixed emotion that I announce the closure of A Tad Polish - Specialty Pierogis, effective at the end of 2016. I am moving south to Toronto on to life's next adventure and will not be continuing the business. It's been a wild ride, and it would not have been made possible without everyone's support. A huge heartfelt thank you to every customer, friend and family member that came out to try the goods and support my business. It's been a difficult struggle at times, and an intense joy at others. It's been wonderful getting to know everyone at the markets and engage with the community. There are few things in my life I've been more proud of and thankful for.
I'll still be at the market for the next 4 weeks, with the final market day being on Saturday Dec. 24th. Come out the next 4 weeks and stock up while you can! Massive thank you's to my father, Mark Thompson, Megan Lumgair, Sarah Astles, and Emma Polera, all of whom helped make this all possible through their support, hard work, and motivation. To everyone at Orillia Farmers' Market and OK Friday. Big thanks also to Ed and Fox Foods for inspiration, advice and start-up assistance. Much love to all, and cheers to new adventures ❤️
